Canusa-CPS and Flexpipe Systems, another ShawCor division, have entered into a Master Distribution agreement.

Flexpipe Systems, a division of ShawCor Ltd., is pleased to announce the nomination of CANUSA-CPS as the Exclusive Master Distributor for Flexpipe Pipeline products in South America.

CANUSA-CPS, a manufacturer of anti-corrosion field joining coating systems for oil and gas, pre-insulated, water and related industrial markets, have been selling products into the South American market place for over 15 years. The company has a well established network of local distributors and sales engineering professionals. Flexpipe Pipeline Products are an excellent additional to CANUSA-CPS’s existing suite of products and services.

Flexpipe Systems with the help of CANUSA-CPS and its network of local distributors is committed to establishing long-term relationships with South American energy producers. Under the agreement, CANUSA-CPS will be establishing Business Service Centers which will carry an inventory of Flexpipe linepipe and installation equipment. These Business Service Centers will be strategically located to support the South American market. The first Business Service Center is scheduled to be operational in the second quarter of 2010 and will be in the Free Trade Zone in Uruguay.

Local CANUSA-CPS representatives will provide the technical and practical expertise helping South American clients design and implement their pipeline projects using Flexpipe Systems’ composite pipeline technology.
