Water pipelines can range from small diameter distribution lines to very large diameter transmission lines. Canusa-CPS has
developed the Aqua-Shield™ and WrapidSeal™ product lines specifically to function on water and wastewater pipelines.
High performance products, such as the multi-layer GTS heat-shrinkable sleeve products and HBE liquid epoxy products, can be also
used for specified higher performance requirements.
Globally, water pipeline construction methods vary significantly. These variations include the type of pipe used, such as plastic,
concrete and ferrous metals, which include ductile iron or steel. Since ferrous metals are subject to corrosion, corrosion protection
becomes an integral part of metallic pipeline design. The type of mainline coating thus becomes a deciding factor in which field joint
protection products to choose.

Aqua-Shield™ - AQW
Heat-shrinkable sleeve products that have been specifically designed for the corrosion protection of small to large diameter
water and wastewater pipelines operating up to 50°C (122°F).
Aqua-Shield™ - AQW-FF
Aqua-Shield™ AQW-FF is a two-piece, heat-shrinkable sleeve designed specifically for coating factory-fabricated fittings,
service outlets and mitered elbows.
Aqua-Shield™ - AQW-FPK
A snap-fit, heat-shrinkable, wraparound sleeve system that has been specifically designed for the corrosion protection of flange joints
of water and wastewater pipelines operating up to 50°C (122°F).
Aqua-Shield™ - AQW-MC
One-piece, heat-shrinkable sleeve specifically designed for protection of mortar-coated steel water pipeline that will have a cement mortar infil applied at the field joint.
High Performance
GTS-65
A product that provides superior corrosion protection and excellent boding on water and wastewater pipelines. GTS-65 is a 2 or 3-layer
heat-shrinkable sleeve that operates up to 65°C (149°F).
